After making a bunny, I wanted to make a doll as well. As I love Alice in Wonderland, I looked for something that resembled that, but in the end you can only see it in her hair. That’s fine though, there’s plenty of time in the future to make a proper Alice!
This was a lot more complicated than the bunny, especially the clothes. The cap was surprisingly easy, and despite it being very time consuming, the hair was easy to do as well. That surprised me honestly.
Everything ended up being slightly off though. Her head is stuck in such a way that she’s permanently glancing sideways, and the shape of her head is a little awkward as well. It’s too big and heavy for the rest of her body, making it very floppy. I do love how the hair turned out, that’s definitely my favourite part!
Mistakes are important though, because I learned what I disliked and will keep that in mind when making other dolls in the future!
