I’ve done a bunch of crochet by now, so I felt like adding another craft to my repertoire. So… cross stitch it is!
I found a picture of two cats and personalised it to be my two cats. Atari the Tortie and Konami the Ginger. Atari is an old lady and was getting a little listless. We got her from the shelter at the age of eleven, and they said she used to be in a home with at least one other cat, so we thought we would get her a little friend to keep her company. Initially we were going to rescue another older lady or gentleman from the shelter, but then a colleague of my partner had a litter of kittens that needed a home. So, long story short, we suddenly had a little kitten that really wanted to play, and an old lady that just wanted to nap.
